Overview
Karen is the Director of Coaching for Values Based Leadership, a consultancy specialising in the leadership development and coaching of senior managers of national and global companies. Karen has worked with senior managers and teams in a variety of organisations in the UK, Europe and North America.

Karen has 25 years experience leading and managing teams. In the last 15 years, she has focused on learning and development, and leadership and coaching. The move from mainstream management to learning and development came from her ambition to enable people to be the best they can be and to enjoy the work they do.

Representative Client Engagements
  • Working with a division of a construction business to develop the interpersonal skills of all sixty members of staff – one year programme.
  • Running a one year programme over four consecutive years to develop the leadership skills of a group of high potential managers.
  • Developing the mentoring skills of seven members of an executive team to mentor high potential women throughout their business. This was a combination of team and individual work.
  • Coaching a group of senior managers at a pharmaceutical company to manage their remote teams through a restructure.
  • Running a series of strategic thinking days for a senior management team to enable them to complete their strategy for the coming year.
  • Coaching a senior manager of an FMCG company through a very large merger of two multinational organisations.
  • Coaching a senior manager of a Financial Services business through three promotions in one year.
